On New Years this year we decided to have a hot choclate bar. We’d been thinking about doing it for awhile, but ringing in the new year seemed like an excellent time to do it.
Crockpot Hot Chocolate
- 10 cups milk (reduced fat)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Add all ingredients to crock pot and cook on high for 2 1/2 hours. Whisk ocassionally until smooth.
If you are dairy intolerant like I am… you can use Soy Milk (plain or vanilla for a bit of extra flavor) and dark chocolate chips.
