The recipe for this particular mint tea, isn’t too complicated provided you’ve already made the mint simple syrup we made a few posts ago.)

You’ll need:

  • 2 family sized tea bags
  • Mint Simple Syrup
  • Fresh mint for garnish (if desired)

You just make your iced tea like you normally would:

  • Heat up 2 family sized tea bags for 2 minutes 30 seconds.
  • Stir in 1/2 a cup simple syrup (or more if you like your tea sweeter)
  • Fill rest of pitcher with water.

My mum really loves tea with mint simple syrup, but I still go for the sprig of mint in the tea versus the simple mint syrup. (Now if we’re talking rhubarb simple syrup, well that’s a whole other story.)
