Independence Day Tarts

Apple and Cherry pie, that’s what you normally think about when you shop for desserts for 4th of July. Well this year we had purchased an amazing mini tart pan from Williams-Sonoma and we decided this would be the perfect time to try it out!

We had some Jiffy Pie Crust Mix on hand, so we decided to mix some up for our ‘crust.’

Step 1: Mix up crust and press into tart tins… bake… set aside until ready to use. (This can be done up to  two days before hand.)

Step 2: Pipe in vanilla pudding. (We took another short cut here, using Jello Vanilla Pudding. We originally wanted Cheesecake Pudding, but sometimes you have to work with what you have!)

Step 3: Wash and arrange berries.

Step 4: Serve!
