Gettin’ figgy with it!

Figs… Figs… Figs… My mom loves figs. Whether they fresh, preserved, or prepared any other way she loves them. So, now that we are in fig season, we picked some up and created just two of the many lovely ways to enjoy figs.

First… Fig Pizzas…

Ingredients used:

  • Turkish figs (sliced)
  • Thinly sliced ham
  • Black Olives (rinsed)
  • Walnuts (chopped)
  • The Naked Goat Cheese (grated)
  • Naan Bread

Second… Fig/Grilled Chicken Salads…

Ingredients used:

  • Fresh spinach (washed)
  • Radishes (sliced)
  • Tomatoes (halved)
  • Turkish Figs (sliced)
  • Mushrooms (sliced)
  • Grilled Chicken (sliced)
  • The Naked Goat Cheese (grated)
  • Gremolata EVOO

Now add chicken/grated goat cheese/Gremolata EVOO.
