I love peaches, always have and always will. They are perfect summer fruit, (along with berries of course,) and so we decided it was time to try our hands at a peach tart.
First our simple ingredients:
- 2-3 peaches (you saw that one coming, right?)
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 cup fructose
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 tbsp. peach (or) apricot jam
- 2 tbsp. sanding sugar (we used pale yellow, gave a nice finish)
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
We used Jiffy Pie Crust that we sent through the food processor, but you can either make your own, or purchase ready made pie crusts.
