Artichokes are an acquired taste… I’ve only had them once before, and at the time I was determined they would not be on my list of foods I like. However, today I decided to give them another chance.
Items for this snack:
- Artichoke Spread/Dip
- Goat cheese (or other crumbly/creamy cheese)
- 2 types of crackers
- Fun napkins (optional)
Although I’m still not entirely sure how I feel about artichokes… I have to agree that this was a good afternoon snack…
Now for a flashback… my mum’s favorite artichoke dip (one that could not be eaten by those with dairy intolerance!) comes from Pasta and Provisions over on Providence (in Charlotte, NC.) Their dip combines gorgonzola and artichokes.
