I was so excited to receive this last box for 2015 from Try the World. All the goodies included were from different countries, and everything looks oh… so… delicious.

Cocoa Truffles

2| Kuivattu Marjamix | This Berry Mix is a mixture of wild lingonberries and bilberries from Finland. The maker of these mixes freezes dries the berries right after harvest for the best flavor and quality.

Winter Calming Tea

4| Gingersnaps | These Gingersnaps from Nyakers are typically found in Sweden Christmas markets and are a favorite treat to be enjoyed on St Lucia’s Day (Dec 13th.)

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

5| Extra-Virigin Olive Oil | This olive oil is pressed by a cooperative of Arab and Jewish women in Northern Israel. I’m quite excited to give this fresh cold pressed EVOO a try.

Panettone

6| Panettone | This sweet treat comes from Milan where G. Cova & C has been using the same traditional method as those made at many Italian homes. According to the Culture Guide, the bread is traditionally market with a cross as a good omen for the new year.

Acai Sauce

7| Acai Dessert Sauce | Acai is not only good for you (it’s packed with antioxidants) but it’s also taste on desserts. We’re going enjoy this sauce from Rio de Janeiro @ our little Tapa’s Christmas Party this weekend. Yum!

Apricot Cookies

8| Orientines Apricot Cookies | These cookies from Morocco would be the perfect accompaniment for afternoon tea.

Since I’m taking the last few weeks of December off from my day job, I’m hoping to finally get a chance to try out some of the goodies I’ve received over the past several months. (Fingers crossed!)
