Saturday with thefoodie

This past Saturday, we headed up to Davidson, North Carolina to introduce my sister to the farmers market for the first time. It is our favorite farmers market out of the ones we’ve visited and we like to make it up there a few times each season to check out the produce, grab some fresh flowers and enjoy a little lunch at one of the restaurants on Main Street.

Our goodies in tow, it was time to re-park in a shadier spot and have a little spot of lunch @ Kindred.

We decided to have our lunch out doors, to enjoy the sunny cool weather… because you have to take it when you can get it when it comes to summers here in the South.

If you live in the Charlotte area, I’d definitely recommend a Saturday trip up to Davidson, to pick up some fresh produce and enjoy some farm to table food @ Kindred.
