On a recent trip to Sur la Table, we picked up these fun ice cube trays. We’d been talking about make some ice cubes with our mint since we first started our little herb deck garden, and were excited to make use of them.
Note that these trays are not only easy to clean, but they are also dishwasher safe, which is always a plus in my book!
For our first try making these we wanted to make one try of mint and the second with slices of lemon (because if I like lemon in my tea and water, then I knew I’d love it.)
Just add your mint, lemon and whatever you want to ‘flavor’ your ice cubes with, and fill trays with water. Be careful not to overfill! Then place them in the freezer overnight.
