Fusilli with Homemade Ricotta | Plated

This was the final meal from our box (but we’re already looking forward to our next which arrives the second week of September) and we had the chance to make our own ricotta!

Items in the box:

  • 3 Plum Tomatoes
  • 1 Clove Garlic
  • 5 Sun-Dried Tomatoes
  • 1/8 oz basil
  • 2 pints whole milk
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 8 oz Fusilli
  • 1/2 tsp Aleppo Pepper
  • 1/4 cup White Wine
  • 1/3 cup Pesto
  • 2 tbsp grated Pecorino Cheese
  • 1 Cheesecloth

While we allowed the moisture to drain through the cloth we boiled our water and made the fusilli pasta.
