Masala Spiced Turkey Kebabs with Cashew Chutney | Sun Basket

Our last dish from Sun Basket was the Spiced Turkey Kebabs with Cashew Chutney. As with the other dishes the sauce, dressing or in this case chutney, was already prepared.

Dark meat turkey used to be looked down on by nutritionists, who preferred leaner white meat. But legs and thighs have more iron, folate, and zinc that the breast. We also love the riches taste, here brought out by warming Indian spices. If you feel like cooking outside, these kebabs cook up beautifully on the grill. – Sun Basket

Our ingredients... we picked up some fresh parsley from our herb garden as the cilantro had gone off.

  • Fried Shallots
  • Lemon
  • Serrano Chile
  • Pasture-Raised Organic Eggs
  • Almond Meal
  • Masala Spices
  • Ground Turkey
  • Wooden Skewers
  • Cilantro

Since no one in our house likes cauliflower, we decided on bow-tie pasta instead.

For our kebabs we subbed fresh parsley for the cilantro and left out the serrano chile, because we weren’t exactly in the mood to breath fire…

Yum!
Yum!

Stay tuned next week were I share our experience with Home Chef.
